| CCSA Western Cape Provincial Convention 2008
Delegates and Observers who attended the CCSA Western Cape Provincial Convention on the 24th May 2008 The first Provincial Convention was held in the Goodwood Activity Hall on Saturday 24th May 2008. The proceedings started at 9.00am and finished at 12.30pm. All five Regions were present and at the beginning of the meeting our new region Tafelbaai was presented with its charter. The Western Cape Province is now six Regions strong and we wish Tafelbaai many years of caravanning fun. We made known the names of office bearers, read and confirmed minutes, received the President’s annual report, and adopted the audited financial statements. We also considered and approved alterations to the constitution and discussed and voted on matters of policy appearing on the agenda. The meeting was held in good spirits and the discussions were lively with all regions participating. The general consensus of opinion was that the meeting very worthwhile and informative. Congratulations to Tygerberg Region for winning the Area D Attendance trophy. Well done to the Eastern Cape Regions for winning most of the other National trophies. The teas and lunch were every good and enjoyed by all. We all look forward to next years meeting. (Click on the Photo below to view the Photo Album)
